PT Daya Adibuat Motora (DAM) as the main Honda motorbike dealer in West Java officially launched the EM1 e: and EM1 e: Plus electric motorbikes in Bandung, West Java.
The launch of the Honda EM1 e: and EM1 e: Plus with regional status occurred on Friday (26/1/2024).
“The launch of the Honda EM1 e: and EM1 e: Plus provides consumers in the city of Bandung and surrounding areas with the opportunity to take a closer look at Honda’s electric motorbike technology,” said Lerri Gunawan, Chief Operating Officer of DAM in a recent official statement.
DAM markets the Honda EM1 e: at a price of IDR 45,975 million On The Road (OTR) Bandung. This price is included chargers.
Meanwhile, the Honda EM1 e: Plus is sold for Rp. 46,475 million OTR Bandung, including charger.
“The presence of the Honda EM1 e: apart from being a means of mobility in urban areas, it also provides a new, enjoyable driving experience with the support of the best services spread throughout Indonesia,” said Lerri.
“We are confident that the Honda EM1 e: and Honda EM1 e: Plus can provide a different sensation of riding an electric motorbike with various advantages in terms of compact and modern design, capable performance, and comfort for riding both alone and in a tandem,” he continued.
As is known, the Honda EM1 e: and Honda EM1 e: Plus are equipped with a Lithium-ion type battery with a capacity of 29.4 Ah which is IP65 certified so it is resistant to dust and water. The battery weighs 10.2 kg.
Battery charging time is around 2.7 hours (160 minutes) for 25 percent – 75 percent and 6 hours for 0 percent – 100 percent.
The driving source for these two motorbike models uses an In-Wheel Brushless Motor with a power output of 1.7 kW at 540 rpm and a peak torque of 90 Nm at 25 rpm.
Both models are capable of reaching a maximum speed of 45 km/h with a maximum distance of 41.1 km (WMTC Mode).
Especially for the Honda EM1 e: Plus, it is equipped with a rear carrier to make it easier for consumers to carry additional items, without reducing comfort when pillion.
Honda EM1 e: available in three color choices, namely Innovative White, Intelligent Matte Black and Smart Red. Meanwhile, the Honda EM1 e: Plus comes in Excellent Matte Silver color.
