The first car was a Ferrari 250 GT/E which was used by the police in Rome, Italy in the 1960s.

Lykan Hypersport – United Arab Emirates
The next beast-powered police car in the world is the Lykan Hypersport which is used by the Dubai police.
Lykan Hypersport is a car developed by W Motors, a sports car company from the United Arab Emirates in Lebanon in 2012.

This car is equipped with a 6 cylinder in-line configuration engine with 2 supports turbocharge to boost performance.
The engine is produced by Porsche, but gets a touch-up from RUF Automobile, a specialist Porsche modification house.
According to claims, the Lykan Hypersport is capable of producing up to 750 hp and can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.
Even more surprising, W Motors was deliberately asked by the Abu Dhabi police to make a car with higher performance and different from the mass production version.
This special vehicle uses a special livery and is the only one of 7 Lykan Hypersports made as a police car in the world.
Bugatti Veyron – United Arab Emirates
Abu Dhabi seems not satisfied with just having the Lykan, they also added to their fleet by choosing the Bugatti Veyron as a patrol car.
This French-made car is also the most famous police car in the world because of its fantastic price.
The Abu Dhabi police have been using Bugatti since 2013 because many people in that country own high-performance cars.
On paper, the Bugatti Veyron is capable of producing up to 987 hp from an engine with a W16 configuration.
Bugatti also earned this Dubai police car a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the fastest police car in the world.
