Those opting for the all-wheel-drive versions Long Range Dual Motor and Long Range Dual Motor with the Performance package will receive a 6,500 euros discount.

Consequently, the updated prices are as follows: The single-engine variant with “Standard Range” is now priced at 41,775 euros instead of 46,275 euros. The single-engine Long Range version with a larger battery is now available at 45,475 euros. The prices for the two twin-engine versions of the Polestar 2 have decreased from 52,275 and 58,775 euros to 45,775 and 52,275 euros.

Polestar does not offer discounts on its other two models: the large SUV Polestar 3 and the SUV coupe Polestar 4, which is expected to be delivered in Europe from August. The Polestar 4 is currently available for order with a starting price of 61,900 euros in the German market when purchased online.

Currently, several manufacturers are reducing prices in response to the conclusion of state subsidies for electric cars. Many OEMs, including VW, Tesla, Dacia, Fiat, Smart, Nissan, and BYD, have (temporarily) lowered the prices for their electric models. While most manufacturers are implementing temporary discount campaigns, Tesla and BYD have officially reduced their list prices. Additionally, BYD and Great Wall have initiated discount campaigns, with both Chinese manufacturers offering substantial five-figure discounts.
